Beware of alleged calls from Microsoft!
Old hat, actually:
Someone calls and says they are from Microsoft and would help you clean your PC. In reality, a remote maintenance is set up, the criminal counterpart encrypts your PC and thus wants to extort a “ransom”.
Unfortunately I didn't have a prepared Windows VM, I would have liked to take the game to the end and show him that after a reboot and a ZFS snapshot, everything is fine again.
