Content Managment Systems

A content management system, CMS for short, forms the basis for almost every website on the web today. Content can be conveniently administered and published via a backend, without the user having to know how to program, as was the case in the days of static HTML pages. In addition to the simple administration, there is the advantage that the appearance of the website can be changed or renewed at any time via themes (separation of content and presentation).

There are many different CMS systems, with their own advantages and disadvantages.
